Forgiveness doesn't cost a thing

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

If you are angry, you cannot free yourself from a situation. Anger keeps you stuck because it feeds the pain. If you forgive, the lesson will be revealed and you will be able to avoid the same future mistake. 

When you truly forgive, you will be free.

I guess you can say that is where I have been stuck for a while, my words lost between my brain and my fingers because it doesn't feel safe to let them flow from my hands onto the keyboard. It is not really new. It has been an ailment that I have been suffering with for a couple of months. It hit me one day, like a bad case of the flu and it won't let its hold on me go. I have been reaching, searching, asking, trying to find the cure or just some smidgen of relief. I am fighting today! I am using the last morsels of strength I have to ask for help, beg for your assistance. Can you give me some of your healing energy on this Free Yourself Friday? I need to be free of this mess. It is too heavy to carry any longer. No, I won't put anyone on blasts, so don't hold your breath as you read. I won't tell what we already tried individually to navigate our own dysfunction that keeps this crippling thing going between me and you, you know if you are one of those who is cultivaring my flu so don't even act confused. What I will say is that I need to be feee of it, shoot, I have to be free of it. I cannot conjure the energy to do it myself. There is nothing left. I am depleted. Ain't that some damn mess? The Boss Lady cannot even speak for herself!

There is a song, overall a different subject, but these four talented men wrote an appropriate section in the chorus that when parsed, it is just for me:

Getting what or where you want to be in your career is not like getting what you want at Burger King, you can't just have it your way. If you believe that simply by sitting around long enough good things will be bestowed upon you, know that those are the things that were intentionally left  behind by others who were busy hustling. When you wonder why the person with the same skillset as you is commended but you are not, consider that hustling those skills  allowed him to unbalance the playing field in his favor. Look, you already got the dream free,  so if you want to see it come to fruition go ahead and make an investment in yourself. Buy the damn hustle!
